Turley Associates provided planning advice, assisted with the production of an Environmental Statement (ES) and submitted the planning application for this ambitious project.
The proposals optimise the development envelope and introduce a contemporary architectural solution. This is an approach we have strongly advocated with the LPA by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the character and appearance of the CA.
The application was submitted following extensive consultation with CABE, the GLA, English Heritage and Westminster Council. The latter rightly required considerable comfort that the architectural solution could be delivered in detail and that the day to day practicalities of such proposals had been considered.
Turley Associates co-ordinated the review of all submitted documents to ensure that each was strategically supporting the application.
Of particular note have been the affordable housing negotiations with the Council, as the project raises challenging viability issues in part due to the rising office rental rates.
