Draft Heritage Protection Bill Comment

The Bill seeks to outline a new and more unified structure for administrating and managing the historic environment within England and Wales, in particular to establish a more transparent, consistent and inclusive heritage planning system.

This is to be achieved through the introduction of centralised designation process, a more defined and accountable consent system and the introduction of formalised systems for consultation and access to information.
