Turley Associates announces seven promotions and central London drive

Press release: 8 June 2011

Planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates has announced seven promotions and a new drive to capitalise on its expertise in central London.

The following planners and urban designers are promoted. Will Lingard in London and Stuart Irvine in Southampton are both promoted to Director. Gareth Barton in Bristol and Marianne McCallum in Leeds are both promoted to Associate Director. Thomas Bell in Belfast and Rebecca Palmer in Leeds are promoted to Senior Planner.

Rob Lucas, Chief Executive, Turley Associates said: "It gives me great pleasure to announce these promotions. All have worked extremely hard to deliver outstanding client service and they should be proud of their achievements. My congratulations go to them all."

The company has also promoted Paul Deehan, Director of Business Services, to Executive Director and a place on Turley Associates' Board. Manchester-based Paul is responsible for Turley Associates' finance, IT, administration and HR functions. The promotions took effect from 1 June.

Turley Associates also announced that Director Michael Lowndes is to take up the leadership of its planning and urban design work in London. The change in role is enabled by the recent promotion of Matt Quayle to Head of Urban Design, a role formerly held by Mike.

Rob adds: "As a leading planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates has built up a considerable track record of successful central London work including some of the Capital's highest profile mixed use and residential schemes. We plan to develop this further with the strengthened and experienced service team based at Savile Row under Mike's leadership."
