Westminster City Council has resolved to grant planning permission and conservation area consent for the LSE's new Student Services Building, designed following an international competition by O'Donnell Tuomey. Despite over 500 objections regarding the loss of the existing unlisted buildings of merit and the relocation of existing medical facilities the Planning Committee was persuaded by the architectural solution of exceptional quality and the importance of supporting a world class educational institution.
